We create regular, welcoming opportunities for women to participate in community life, preserve local culture and support one another through shared activity.
What it means in practice
- Participation — meetings and events open to women of every age, with no expectation of experience.
- Culture — keeping recipes, customs and celebrations alive by practising them together.
- Support — noticing when a member or neighbour needs company or a helping hand.
- Voice — giving women a place to raise ideas and concerns about community life.
How we measure ourselves
Not in numbers alone. We ask whether people came back, whether new faces joined, and whether the work was shared fairly. Each year members review what went well and what should change.
